Looking for school website design ideas for the New Year? Have a look at the latest websites we’ve designed and put live to help spark some inspiration.

Primary schools and lower years
Nassington School
Primary school websites are traditionally much brighter and more colourful than their secondary school counterparts, and the new Nassington School website is no different. What is different though, is the perfect integration of illustration and more contemporary design concepts, as well as stand-out typography highlighting the schools ethos and values. See it for yourself here

St Laurence Catholic Primary School
Some schools choose to use their website to extend their brand identity, incorporating their school uniform colours or a certain font. The new St Laurence Catholic Primary School site uses the same blue that appears on the students’ uniform, making it immediately obvious that website users have arrived at the correct website. They have also included some custom illustration on the website, for the year groups – which leads through to individual class areas. See it for yourself here

St Katherine’s School
One school website design trend we noticed back in June was the video homepage. The homepage on the new St Katherine’s School website has included a video as their homepage, which gives an immersive overview of the school without even setting foot in the building. But that’s not the only design element of the site – they also have custom blocks as part of their design, linking to separate areas of the website, each with stunning professional photography as the focus point. See it for yourself here

Reading Girls’ School
If you get the photography right, you can totally transform your school website. The new Reading Girls’ School site uses photography as a focus point, showing off their sports facilities, classrooms and student activities. They have also included a section which introduces website users to students, with their thoughts on the school available direct from the homepage. See it for yourself here.
