Keep Your School Website Up To Date With Reporting

Modern search engines like Google and Bing place importance on fresh content when calculating where to place your site in the page rankings. Sites that have stagnant content are considered less relevant and will appear further down the results.
Another negative to ‘old content’ is a lack of return website visitors. If parents, students and teachers see the same content every time they visit your site, they are less likely to return to your site, and could miss important updates if you do make them.
We want to make it as easy as possible to keep your school website up to date. Within the latest version of our content management system (CMS), is a report you can download. This report will list all of your websites pages, listing who updated them and when.
We recommend running this at least once a term, making sure important information is always up to date.
To run this report, follow these instructions:
- Log into your website
- Click on the “Website” tab. You should see a button titled “Export Data”. Click on this button
- You will then be presented with several options > Click on the button titled “Page information”
- After a few seconds you should be prompted to download or open the document
