COVID-19 Poster Design Competition 2020
Published on 19/06/20
We're excited to announce the winners of our COVID-19 poster design competition!
We had some incredible entries from students of all ages and it was very difficult for our team of judges to decide the winners - however, in the end there were 2 which really stood out for us.
The winners of our design competition:
Our primary school winner is Evie - aged 10 - from Connaught Junior School.
Our judging panel felt this beautifully drawn poster captured all of the key messages on being safe during COVID-19 in a very colourful and clear way.
Our secondary school winner is Anik - aged 12 - from Queen Elizabeth's School in Barnet.
We were blown away by the technical skill of this drawing and loved the multi-coloured effect combined with the themed interpretation of a historical poster.
There were so many fantastic entries submitted and we want to thank all of the schools, MATs, parents and students who joined in with our competition.
All of the entries we saw were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed looking through them all and seeing your skills.
Keep up the great work - we can definitely see a lot of future artists, designers and architects amongst you!
**Please note: this competition closed on the 10th July 2020 and no more submissions will be accepted.**
Original entry post for reference:
We've recently introduced our own competitively priced range of COVID-19 signage, but if you'd rather design your own - now is the perfect opportunity!
We're looking for UK students aged 4 - 18 to design an A4 poster around the theme of staying safe and keeping your distance at school during COVID-19.
The winners will have their designs professionally reproduced, printed and delivered to their school, allowing them to be used around school buildings, corridors and classrooms to help keep staff and students aware and safe.
All you need to do to enter is:
- Download our entry form (or if you don't have access to a printer or don't want to use that much ink, then a plain piece of A4 paper is absolutely fine!)
- Get your creative juices flowing and come up with a fantastic design for a COVID-19 poster promoting the themes of staying safe or keeping your distance.
- Submit a photo or a scanned copy of your artwork, along with the student's full name, age and school details (school name, school address and website address) to
(Please note the child's full name is only for internal identification purposes so we can let you know which student has won, if there are lots of entries from your school. We would only share their first name, age and school name on our website or social media channels and this would only be shared with your permission).
Good luck to you all - we can't wait to see what you come up with!
The official bits:
The closing date for the competition is Friday 10th July 2020 at 4.30pm and the winners will be announced by Wednesday 15th July 2020.
There will be two winners; one primary age and one secondary age. The winners will be selected by a panel of judges at e4education and both winning entries will be announced on our website and our official social media channels (@e4education), sharing only the first name, age and school name of the winner.
The 2 winning designs will be recreated by our talented design team* and then 50 copies will be professionally printed onto A4 360gsm paper (via our carbon-balanced, eco-friendly print company), The physical copies of the posters will be delivered to your school as soon as possible after the closing date - once the designs have been recreated by our team.
Entries are open to students from across the UK who are aged between 4 and 18 years old.
The school does not have to be an e4education customer to enter.
If we are fortunate to receive lots of entries, we will create a 'runners up' gallery on our website to showcase some of the fantastic work created. If you don't want your entry to be featured in our runners up gallery or on any of our social channels, or you do not wish for the winning child's first name or age to be released - please let us know.
*Our designers will keep to the winning designs as much as possible, however small amends may be required to the design to allow the artwork to be compatible for printing.
