Greenwood Academies Trust consists of 35 schools across 4 regions. As an established MAT since 2009, they wanted a uniform solution which was both modern and scalable – ensuring instant brand awareness and recognition when landing on any of the school websites as well as being future-proof as they continued to expand and grow.
We suggested using their strong purple brand colour and distinctive logo to create a consistent, cost-effective design which could be utilised across all of their schools. To provide slight differentiation between the sectors; we softened the design template for the primary schools – using softer lines and rounded edges to give their websites a more child-friendly feel. We also offered flexibility by giving each school the choice from a selection of pre-designed homepage elements, which they could pick up to four, depending on their needs and requirements.
Westcountry Schools Trust (formerly Ivybridge Academy Trust) is made up of 18 schools and a teaching school and is centred around two cluster areas within the counties of Devon and Cornwall. When they started working with us, they were a newly formed Multi-Academy Trust and their main aim was to define their MAT brand and create an online presence for the Trust, as well as to bring all of their schools under one website provider.
They wanted to have an overall theme for their school websites, whilst allowing them to maintain their individual identities which were based upon their values and locations. To do this, we created a base design for the primary and secondary models, which were then customised on a school-by-school basis to incorporate their own unique characteristics.

Leicester Grammar School Trust is a family of three independent top-performing co-educational day schools based in Great Glen Leicestershire; Leicester Grammar School, Leicester Grammar Junior School and Stoneygate School. The Trust wanted to work with a provider who truly understood their core needs and could provide the best fit for their requirements.
Following our discussions, they felt that our Content Management System was intuitive with a simple yet powerful interface and that our host of school-specific features and functionality could be adapted for their specific needs, rather than starting from scratch, which would ultimately save them time and money. The Trust team felt that our ethos and approach to customer service was exactly what they were looking for, and we worked with them to create engaging new websites for each of the schools and the Trust. We also helped them to create stunning homepage videos for each of the schools.

The Bedfordshire Schools Trust (BEST) is a learning community of two nurseries and eight schools, providing education to children aged 0 - 19 within the county of Bedfordshire. From our discussions, we know that we wanted to ensure their websites were instantly recognisable as part of BEST, so we collaborated to create two consistent, clear designs for the different sectors they work with; large imagery and bold lines for the secondary websites and softer waves and curves for the primary websites.
We then mirrored elements from the school websites, as well as adding in a few unique elements to create beautiful bespoke websites for the Trust and Teaching School. Social media is regularly used by the schools, so each of the websites features easy access to the social media accounts and full feeds where necessary.

Engage, Enrich, Excel Academies (EEEA) is a 5-school primary trust located within Surrey and Hampshire. They wanted to demonstrate their commitment to developing a bespoke curriculum for the needs of their community and to highlight the important features of the schools within their Trust, so we worked with them to create a bespoke Trust website which incorporated large breathtaking imagery, dynamic counters to demonstrate EEEA's key statistics and frequently updated news and social feeds, pulling information from the schools within the Trust.
We also applied some of these features to the primary school website designs - along with the use of bright colours, easy to navigate menu structures and interactive video welcome messages.
Macintyre Academies is a Multi Academy Trust for special schools and specialist alternative provision. The Trust and Schools works hard to ensure that all of their students have the same opportunities as children attending mainstream education and they wanted their websites to reflect their approach, philosophies and curriculum.
We worked with them to create engaging websites that would appeal to both their students and parents, to really give a flavour of life at Macintyre. We added interactive 'meet the staff' feeds to the homepage, so that parents could instantly see who would be teaching their child, alongside an interactive 'day in the life' journey, introduction video, dynamic feeds and a welcome message from the headteacher. We styled their websites to help promote a real sense of community and inclusion, giving an interactive insight into life at their schools.
The Consortium Academy Trust is based in East Yorkshire and is made up of 8 schools; 2 primary, 5 secondary and a sixth form. We started working with the Trust in early 2017, ready for their official formation in September 2017. It's always a pleasure to work on a newly formed project from initial conception and we were fortunate to be able to design not only the website, but the logo and branding too.
Our designers combined a visually impactful colour palette with circular shapes and a play on the letter 'C' to create a striking, instantly recognisable logo. We then took elements of the logo and translated this into the website design, letterheads and branding to achieve a consistent theme throughout their online and offline mediums. To help differentiate their website from others, we took the circles and colours and made them focal features - to really help them stand out from the crowd.

The Cothill Trust is an educational charity comprising of seven independent prep schools located across England and France; Ashdown House, Barfield, Chandlings, Cothill House, Kitebrook, Mowden Hall and Château de Sauveterre.
Their ethos is based around celebrating individuality, embracing tradition and ensuring the freedom of childhood, so they decided to take a much more bespoke approach to their overall website project - giving each school the opportunity to incorporate their own unique aspects into their design and development. This method allowed us to work with them to create websites which were not only highly functional and beautiful, but also tailored to each of their specific needs and requirements. For example, we emphasised the cultural experience offered at Suaveterre through visual stories and the use of French language whereas with Kitebrook we emphasised their values and growth mindset with interactive homepage carousels and easy to navigate quick links designed to enhance the user experience.
Bedford Catholic Schools is made up of one secondary school, two primary schools and a teaching school situated within Bedford. Our design team utilised the Trust's strong brand pallette to create a series of striking designs that beautifully contrasted their bright rainbow colour scheme with each school's individual uniform colour.
To ensure economy of scale and to provide Trust continuity, we created an overall structure and layout for the designs which was then replicated across all of the school websites. We then worked with each school to create a bespoke motto area to highlight their individual values. A professional photography shoot with our talented in-house photographer provided stunning imagery for the slideshows to add the perfect finishing touches.

Greenshaw Learning Trust is comprised of 13 schools across the South and West of England. They have a very collaborative approach to teaching and value the need for sharing good practice and learning from each other, whilst allowing the schools to retain and develop their own distinctive character. In line with these values, we created website designs for the schools which promote a unity across the trust, whilst giving the schools the opportunity to put their own mark on the design - with their own colours, quick links and social media feeds.
To assist with their marketing, we incorporated the design features from the website into their printed literature, to provide a consistent online and offline presence. We have developed a fantastic relationship with staff within the lead school and Trust over many years and we look forward to seeing how Greenshaw Learning Trust continues to expand, grow and lead in the future.

Dudley Academies Trust comprises of a family of schools based in north and central Dudley. Their key goals as an organisation are to instil ambition and desire in young learners, open their minds, widen their horizons and equip them to succeed in a challenging world. To emphasise this through the website, they wanted a consistent design that would perfectly complement their existing print and branding materials.
Working with existing collateral, we created dynamic and engaging designs which creatively incorporated elements of their fractal graphics and accompanying palette of vibrant colours into a core design structure. Each school homepage also benefits from a unique landing page feature called ‘Discover’ which when clicked, opens a secondary menu structure specifically dedicated to prospective parents.
