Our Essential School Website Range

Published on 07/02/19

As part of our commitment to our customers and the education sector, our team have been working hard to ensure that we can provide a cost-effective service for all schools and all budgets.

At the end of 2018, we launched our Essential School Website Range designed to give you the website that you require, at the price you need.

Our Essential Websites are built on the same proprietary Content Management System (our Connect CMS) as all of our bespoke websites and the row options have been carefully crafted by our talented team of designers and developers, to ensure that you still have a wide range of options within a beautifully designed, responsive framework.

Our Content Management System

We pride ourselves on our Connect CMS and have spent years developing our system to ensure it is both feature rich and easy to use; requiring no technical know-how to update from an administrator perspective. With multiple staff often needing access to the website, we know it needs to be simple and effective, with multiple permission options and fast access to training and support.  That’s why every user who has been set up within our Connect CMS will have full access to our interactive walk-me tutorials as well as unlimited support from our Support Team, should they have any questions or need any advice.

Schools will also be able to set permissions within their admin panel allowing them to control which staff are able to update specific areas of the website. Users can be set up to be full administrators, just have publishing rights or be restricted to sending all updates for approval, depending on how much control they are required to have.

Our Security Features

One of the key concerns around websites is security and we know that, especially since the introduction of the amendments to the Data Protection Act (2018) and the need for more stringent data protection requirements, this is more important to schools than ever before. At e4education we regularly check for any vulnerabilities and have a team of developers who are solely responsible for maintaining the CMS and ensuring its security and upkeep. As we operate from a single code-base, any updates we make to the system are automatically rolled out to all of our customers, free of charge, meaning you will always be on the latest version of our system, without ever needing to lift a finger or make any changes yourselves.

We have introduced valid SSL certificates for all websites and given our customers the option to add in privacy policies and cookie policies to their websites, and update these as required. We’ve also ensured there is full encryption on all of our databases and we continue to work closely in line with the Data Protection regulations to ensure our platforms are fully-up-to-date and compliant.

Our Customer Service

We want you to know that buying a website with us isn’t just going to be a short-term investment with no real reward (other than the finished product). We pride ourselves on developing long-term relationships with our customers and we are there for you, whenever you need us. We have a dedicated Support Team who are able to answer any questions or queries – no matter how big or small. They are a friendly, knowledgeable team who are regularly complimented on their polite, helpful manner, knowledge and quick response times.

As part of our commitment to offer a rounded solution for schools, we also provide our customers with regular resources, newsletters and blog posts from our Marketing Team to help you get the most out of your website as well as how to help your school save time and money.
