It's been another successful month here at e4education with 28 fantastic new websites launching for schools and MATs across the country.

We've highlighted a selection of these below - take a look at each website, by clicking the relevant image, to see if we can spark inspiration for your next project!

May 2020

Abbey Woods Academy

Using swooping curves, different opacities and illustrated elements, the newest school website design for Abbey Woods Academy incorporates their 'woods' themed logo and their 'vibrant' school motto 'Growing together, learning for life.'

Cowlersley and Luck Lane; SHARE Primary Academies

Cowersley & Luck Lane on 3 tablet screens

We often hear from Multi-Academy Trusts asking 'How do we keep a Trust feel across all of the websites but give each school a little bit of independence?' Luck Lane and Cowlersley are two perfect examples of how this can work! We've used colours and elements of the wider Trust brand and design from Share MAT to create a primary-led design which is then enhanced with its own distinct main colour to give it a touch of individuality.

Lumen Learning Trust

Lumen Learning Trust have been a customer of ours for many years, so when they approached us about a possible redesign, we couldn't wait to get stuck in. Our brief was to create a more contemporary feel for their primary MAT website, moving away from the more traditional, corporate feeling of their existing website whilst creating primary designs that celebrated each school's own identity and individuality. We think we've definitely accomplished this - visit the Trust website or take a look at the newly launched Saxon Primary!

Glenmere Community Primary School

Part of our discovery process is to find out exactly which style of website our customers are looking for, who they are as a school and what they want to get across to their audience. For this project, Glenmere were looking for a bespoke school website design that offered a more illustrated feel with softer lines and drawings of children to portray their community led, warm family school. We combined flowing lines, hand drawn elements and friendly fonts to create a functional yet fun design that is unique to their school.

Saffron Academy Trust

This Multi-Academy Trust website for Saffron Academy Trust favours the 'less is more' approach to brilliant effect, showing that you don't have to force everything 'above the fold' to create a streamlined website design. Their informative homepage features a clear navigation menu, links to each school website and a section on career development to provide quick and easy access to all the relevant details a user may require.

The King's School, Grantham

The King's School, Grantham, is another long-term e4education customer who has recently undergone a brand-new website refresh with us. Their sophisticated new design favours large imagery, prominent call to actions and subtle nods to their incredible 500+ year history

Waverley Education Foundation Trust

Sharp angles, quirky shapes and blocks of colour, channelling the theme of the 'W' logo, are an instantly eye-catching feature as soon as you land on the homepage of this two-school Birmingham MAT. Users are kept instantly up to date through a dynamic social media feed and can easily access both schools within the Foundation through clear quick links and a drop-down menu feature.
