Putting Schools At The Heart Of e4education: The Production Team

Published on 11/05/15

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be bringing you a blog series taking a look at the ways we ensure schools are kept up to date with website projects, keeping them at the heart of our key processes.

In the first in this series, we chatted to the e4education production team about their relationship with customers.

Who are the production team?

The production team is a fairly new addition to the e4education family, forming late in 2013. Their primary role is managing each customer journey, ensuring projects are on time, and to brief. However, their day to day role is much more customer focussed than just plain old project management.

“Whilst the production team is efficient and professional, we’re also incredibly approachable and friendly”. Helen Blake manages operations throughout e4education, as well as the production team. “We hit the ground running with our schools, staying on hand throughout each project to provide support and advice from design consultation to their website ‘go live’ day.”

Whether a school is looking to produce some prospectuses, get some photography of their school, or revamp their whole website, their project will be managed thoroughly by the production team. “We like keeping in touch with our schools, regularly checking in on projects and relaying this information back to the school. We work really closely with the other teams throughout e4education, so any queries or questions are pointed directly to the team in question, and passed straight back to the school.”

“Since the production team launched, the process has evolved to really focus on the customer” Natasha recently joined the production team, following previous experience in project management. “The team works closely with a range of different schools, but we’re all aware of the different timelines to ensure everything runs smoothly, and delivered on time. To us, your school isn’t ‘just another website’ it’s a bespoke process, and we take real care in every step”.

“The atmosphere within the business is really collaborative, which helps us provide the best customer service to our schools - regardless of their project type or timeline.” Rebecca has worked throughout several different teams at e4education, putting her extensive skills to use in the newly formed production team. “As we aim to continually improve our processes, our priority is keeping the customer at the centre of everything we do.”

Marianna joined the production team in March, and has already experienced how e4education loves putting customers at the heart of our business. “Getting to know customers, and their needs, has really helped focus the team. It’s about maintaining great communication between departments within e4education, as well as between us and the school – keeping the communications clear and concise.”
