Our Spooktacular Charity Event

Published on 01/11/18

The e4education team got into the spooky spirit on Halloween with a themed charity event that raised a fantastic £234 for Little Miracles.

Little Miracles

Little Miracles is a locally based charity supporting families of children who have life-limiting conditions, additional needs and disabilities. Their main office is only a few miles from our offices in Peterborough and we decided, after working with them last year, that we wanted them to be our 2018-19 e4education Charity of the Year

Successful Creative Crafts

You may have seen our recent blog post on the creative crafts that we made using milk bottles and Sharpies for their Halloween event on Sunday. We're really pleased to say that these went down really well and were a massive success! You can see some lovely photos of the event on the Little Miracles Twitter post here

Creepy Costumes, Gruesome Games and Ghostly Grub

Our Halloween event consisted of a best dressed competition (with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd), a selection of delicious cakes and savoury snacks and a few creepy games which included our unsuspecting colleagues putting their hands in mystery boxes to guess the contents!

We also had a very successful raffle with prizes generously donated by Peterborough Vivacity, Harvester Alwalton, Planet Ice Peterborough, Showcase Cinema Peterborough, Big Sky Peterborough and Peterborough Greyhounds.

We're over the moon that these events helped us to raise £234 for Little Miracles - thank you to all of our lovely staff members who participated, the charity committee for organising the event and the above organisations who donated the raffle prizes. We couldn't have done it without you!
