"The process of designing the website was very professional and the designers listened to the requirements of the school, which were very different to other primary school websites.The quality of the draft layout was excellent and enabled us to tweak elements to fit our needs whilst maintaining the style.The designers' experience of working with a large number of primary schools ensured that the advice regarding structure of the website we needed were up to date and just what we needed.
The communication was excellent and it felt like we were working in partnership throughout.We've had very positive feedback from parents, governors and the community and as far as the school staff are concerned it is very easy to manage. Also the follow-up support has been swift and efficient!
We adopted the VLE at a very early stage of development and the designer worked with us to develop a platform which would work for out school and our families.After initial difficulties the training day really supported the staff in how to get the best out of their class areas.The use of the galleries has been particularly good in that the added security has enabled more children's images and work to be uploaded.We are still at the experimental stage with all our stakeholders contributing ideas as to how we can use it and the final version will be up and running by September.The VLE has been far more user friendly than our experiences with a previous platform and is definitely the way forward for us."
