e4education 10th anniversary birthday cakeBluestone Creative Ltd

Bluestone New Media Limited was incorporated on the 12th April 2001, therefore making this year the companies 10th Anniversary.  The company was born from the idea of designing websites for primary schools, at that time Managing Director John Roach and Commercial Director Chris Banks both had children in primary education and even at that early stage could see the advantage of primary schools being able to deliver information to parents through the Internet. Our trading between 2001 and 2004 was "eforeducation" which has now become “e4education”, which is a registered UK trademark. In 2004 the parent company name was changed to Bluestone Creative Limited. In early 2007 we moved from The Old Chapel in the rural village of Northborough, Cambridgeshire to our current location at 29 Commerce Road on Peterborough Business Park.

Today our principal business is designing and developing websiteslearning platforms, branding & grahic design services and mobile apps for primary, secondary, special and Independent schools. We also provide content management systems, hosting, search engine optimisation and ongoing support. We work closely with our clients to provide sound strategic advice and deliver measurable and cost effective software solutions. We currently have a portfolio of around 1,000 customers, the majority of whom are schools based in the United Kingdom; however we do have some overseas schools.

We are proud of our reputation for providing a fast, efficient and friendly service. We are also regarded as innovative and flexible and known for the high quality of our products. The company has doubled in size in the last two years and our vision is for it to continue to grow its brand and revenues within the education sector. We employ 25 staff and believe our employees are our greatest asset; and to achieve our ambitious targets we have recruited a highly talented and motivated team of web designers, software developers and project managers.
